Scientific Committee
The Scientific Committee is constituted by one scientist
designated by each Party, in addition to specialists nominated by consensus
among the States to include all fields of knowledge not represented by the
members present. The function of this committee is to provide scientific advice
to the Conference of the Parties to comply with the objectives of the
Convention.
